1922 Vaccine Booking for Third Dose Starts at 10 AM! Preview of the 3-Phase Registration Schedule for the 21st Booster Round

The 1922 vaccine booking platform opened for the 21st round today (26th) starting at 10 AM. Those who meet the requirement of “having fully received two vaccine doses for at least 12 weeks and being 18 years or older” can follow the three-stage age-based diversion to book their booster shots on the platform, with administration starting on February 7 after the Lunar New Year.

The Command Center stated that those who have already completed booking at designated contracted medical institutions should receive their shots according to the original booked time and do not need to repeat the booking on 1922.

Relevant Targets and Schedule for the Booking Platform are as follows

1. Administration Schedule

February 7 to February 13.

2. Eligible Recipients

Citizens aged 18 and older (born on or before February 13, 2004) who have fully completed two doses of vaccine before November 21, 2021, with an interval of at least 12 weeks, can book their vaccine booster.

3. Booking Diversion Schedule

  1. Aged 65 and over: January 26, 10 AM to January 27, 4 PM.
  2. Aged 50-64: January 26, 12 PM to January 27, 4 PM.
  3. Aged 18-49: January 26, 2 PM to January 27, 4 PM.

The Command Center explained that citizens could check their eligibility on the booking platform from 2 PM on January 25. Reminder SMS will no longer be sent separately. Eligible citizens are reminded to book during their respective time slots. In case flow control is activated on the day of booking, please cooperate by lining up and waiting patiently.

The Command Center pointed out that the 21st round of the booking platform only provides booster shots. If citizens have needs for the first or second dose, or basic supplementary doses, please bring your vaccination record (Yellow Card) to designated/contracted medical institutions or health bureaus arranged by local governments for booking, or to walk-in vaccination stations. Information on the aforementioned medical institutions can be found on the CDC website (https://www.cdc.gov.tw/) under the COVID-19 vaccination sections, using the “COVID-19 Vaccination Institutions” list or map.

The Command Center reminds citizens that before going for their COVID-19 vaccination, they should prepare their “COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card” and NHI card. Vaccination will be provided after a doctor evaluates previous vaccination history and checks records. Additionally, for citizens aged 18 to under 20, if they go alone for vaccination, they must bring a consent form signed by a parent/guardian; if accompanied by a parent/guardian, both the individual and the parent/guardian should sign the consent form on-site.
