Chen Che-nan Corruption Case: Presidential Office Deputy Secretary-General Impeached, Opening the Curtain of "First Family" Corruption

In November 2005, the Control Yuan passed an impeachment motion against Presidential Office Deputy Secretary-General Chen Che-nan. Chen, positioned at the core of power, was exposed for long-term involvement in the Kaohsiung MRT scandal, illegal stock trading, and even high-stakes gambling in South Korea during office hours.
