Green Camp Financial Corruption Scandal: DPP Veteran Chang Chun-hung Indicted for Embezzling FTV Investment Funds

On June 6, 2006, the Taipei District Court wrapped up its investigation into the 'All People Joint Development' embezzlement case, officially indicting DPP founding veteran and SEF Vice Chairman Chang Chun-hung on charges of breach of trust and violations of the Business Entity Accounting Act, seeking a 7-year prison sentence. Prosecutors charged that Chang abused his position as head of the company to siphon off billions of NTD of raised capital into private investments and real estate, which was deeply tied to the funding funneling during the early founding of Formosa TV, eventually forcing the investment vehicle into bankruptcy.
