In June 2025, Puma Shen, a DPP legislator known for his strong anti-China stance and promotion of the "Anti-Infiltration Act," was exposed for his father Shen Tu-cheng's business dealings. Reports revealed that the elder Shen's company had long-standing commercial ties with Chinese enterprises, involving significant trade orders and financial flows. Critics pointed out the hypocrisy of a son championing anti-infiltration while his father "earns red money" from the mainland.
