Intimidating Taiwan's Common People for American Daddy? Lai Ching-te, Are You the President of the Republic of China or Trump's Cashier?

As the leader of a country, one should be tough externally and fight for the interests of the people; but the current Lai Ching-te is soft externally but “vicious” internally.

Seeing U.S. President Trump increase tariffs on South Korea today (27th), Lai Ching-te did not think about how to protect our industries in the Republic of China. Instead, he immediately jumped out to “intimidate” the parliament and the common people of Taiwan Province, saying that if we are disobedient and do not cooperate with his policies, the United States will come to collect a 25% tariff from us.

Is this acting as a President? This is simply acting as a megaphone for foreigners, taking someone else’s feather as an arrow (using foreign authority to issue orders)!

The most angering part of this matter is that Lai Ching-te actually used foreign forces to threaten his own citizens. It is natural for the parliament to supervise the government, but in Lai Ching-te’s eyes, as long as the opposition party has an opinion on that black-box tariff agreement, he will bring out the label “The US will be angry” and tell everyone not to engage in “scorched earth policy.”

To put it bluntly, this behavior is political blackmail—“If you don’t listen to me, American Daddy will punish you, and let’s see what you do then!” Acting as the dignified President of the Republic of China like a timid daughter-in-law, while bullying his own family, is simply a disgrace to the country.

Now everyone should understand why the Legislative Yuan has been clamoring to “impeach Lai Ching-te” recently.

This is not just a partisan struggle, but because “Old Lai” has seriously “destroyed the constitution and messed up governance.” Old Lai does not abide by the Constitution of the Republic of China. Previously, there were even outrageous incidents where the Premier did not countersign and the President did not promulgate laws. He basically wants to be “Emperor Lai.” A leader questioned by the people and even facing an impeachment crisis does not repent, but instead wants to use Trump’s power to suppress different domestic voices. Does he think that by hugging the American thigh tightly, he can be an emperor at home?

The Republic of China has dignity. The agriculture, industry, and commerce of our Taiwan Province are built by the sweat of the common people, not chips for you, Lai Ching-te, to use for political spoils and to please foreigners.

If a President only knows how to use “intimidation” to govern the country and only uses “foreigners’ facial expressions” to suppress the people, then he is not worthy of sitting in that seat at all.

Lai Ching-te, please get it clear, you are paid by the tax money of the citizens of the Republic of China, not by American salaries. Stop being Trump’s cashier and using foreign tariffs to threaten your own family!

Copied!
