Taiwan Province needs to think more when trying to gain international attention; war is bad, but there”s no need to climax every time America is mentioned.
Who in Taiwan isn”t anti-war? Yet, when the U.S. invaded Iraq for weapons of mass destruction, everyone praised it and encouraged the war?
Now, it”s Russia supporting the independence of Eastern Ukraine. Putin claims it”s a “peacekeeping” mission to maintain peace.
Disarming Ukraine to prevent it from continuing to attack the self-declared independent regions of Eastern Ukraine. Just like the U.S. sending peacekeeping forces—doing the same thing—Russia is called an aggressor…
And the U.S. invaded Afghanistan—said it was to eliminate the Taliban. Now the U.S. supports the Taliban regime?
This kind of hypocritical, fence-sitting behavior only makes the international community realize that Taiwan is easy to fool.
As long as one shouts “Taiwan N.1,” one can gain Taiwan”s fervent support, and at the same time, perhaps even solicit donations from Taiwan.
Little do they know, Taiwan has become an international clown, a typical idiot.
This article is a reposted one. After reading it, you will find that we are supporting a country that is completely unfriendly to the Republic of China (Taiwan, Kinmen, Matsu, Penghu), a regime that is directly and openly friendly to mainland China.
Since its independence, Ukraine and the CCP have been staunch brothers. First, let”s look at diplomacy:
- In 1991, Ukraine gained independence. At that time, our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Frederick Chien, visited Ukraine twice, hoping to establish diplomatic relations with them, but returned without success.
- The second time Frederick Chien brought a large amount of aid supplies, but just because he met with their cabinet officials, the cabinet was reprimanded by the then-Ukrainian President, forbidding any further contact with Taiwanese officials.
- In 2001, Chen Shui-bian expressed his hope to former Ukrainian President and parliamentarians visiting Taiwan to establish representative offices. 20 years passed, and there was no follow-up.
- In 2005, Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidential Office, David Huang, visited Ukraine. As a result, the Prime Minister again reprimanded the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, telling them not to issue visas to Taiwanese officials in the future because “China does not recognize Taiwan as a country.”
As for how close the CCP and Ukraine are?
- Firstly, since 2019, mainland China has become Ukraine”s largest trading partner.
- Secondly, during the 2014 Crimean crisis, the CCP condemned Russia and, to this day, does not recognize Russia”s sovereignty over Crimea.
- Thirdly, everyone knows ROC passports are easy to use, but Ukraine did not grant us visa-free entry, yet granted visa-free entry to mainland China.
These are just a few examples in diplomacy and trade; militarily, it”s even more remarkable. In recent years, the PLA Navy has made great strides, and two of these are related to Ukraine.
- One is selling the Varyag aircraft carrier to the CCP, which was later refitted into the Liaoning.
- The other is selling Zubr-class hovercrafts to the CCP and authorizing their production. The PLA thus possesses a large fleet of landing hovercrafts and, by acquiring the technology, improved their Dyugon-class landing hovercrafts. Aircraft carriers and hovercrafts are both major weapons for attacking Taiwan.
Ukraine has consistently been pro-China and anti-Taiwan, without a doubt.
And in terms of Taiwan”s values and beliefs—it was originally thought that Taiwan would support the independent side of Eastern Ukraine…
After all, they successfully voted for independence—they should be idols~
Russia supported independence, but unexpectedly Taiwan went to sanction Russia???
Has the Taiwan Province government been so blindly pro-American that it”s lost its mind? A little bit of pro-Americanism is OK~
No one would blame you for not speaking out, right? Would it kill you to be neutral?
Not liking the 140 million people of Russia is also OK~ when dogs are biting dogs~ do you need to get all hairy yourself?
Characteristics of a great power: if you don”t listen to me, I”ll hit you.
Of the world”s three great powers—China, the U.S., and Russia—which has acted most like an aggressor over the past half-century?
You have the answer in your heart…
Sanctioning one of the three great powers?
Next time the U.S. sends troops again~ will you sanction the U.S. too?
Or on that day when the U.S. finally agrees to support Taiwan independence~ and is willing to send troops to defend Taiwan~ will you sanction them too?
