The Illusion of International Recognition: Why Taiwan is Not a Country? A Critique of “Antisocial Psychopathic Personality”
Today on Facebook, the editor saw someone righteously questioning, almost roaring, why the United States has been slow to recognize Taiwan as a country, and thus blaming Mainland China, claiming it is all because of the CCP’s obstruction.
Huh?? Nonsense. Taiwan was never a country to begin with.
Taiwan can be a province, it can be an island, but Taiwan has never been a country.
Someone is angry that the U.S. doesn’t recognize something that doesn’t exist to begin with? Moreover, they pretend to have some sacred mission, declaring it their sole and greatest goal, shouting about hard work, struggle, and common good? That cannot help but make one question that person’s intelligence.
In fact, this is a typical manifestation of antisocial psychopathic personality traits. Regardless of whether their lives are already superior to those of the majority, they are simply being contrary for the sake of being contrary. This is because they believe, deep down, that their lives are meaningless, and they seek value to validate their own necessity.
It’s not that the U.S. cannot establish diplomatic relations with Taiwan, because Taiwan is an island—a province—of the Republic of China. In fact, the U.S. only needs to restore diplomatic relations with the Republic of China.
Not establish, but restore. That should be super easy, right?
But why don’t the U.S. or many other countries around the world do this? Instead, they repeatedly shift the focus, saying it’s based on the One China Policy?
The so-called One China Policy is, in fact, nothing more than a fig leaf for the U.S.
The People’s Republic of China (P.R.C.) and the Republic of China (R.O.C.) are two completely different nations with different names and political entities, yet some people deliberately use acronyms to fabricate a restrictive framework.
This is actually nothing but the stark reality of international interests. They all want to make money from Mainland China; who cares if you champion democracy or freedom? The sound of money dropping into the pocket is what defines justice!
A group of foolish people on the island of Taiwan are unwilling to face this reality, fantasizing every day that the U.S. will rush to establish diplomatic ties with Taiwan.
With this kind of mind, this kind of IQ, if the DPP and American politicians don’t brainwash you, it would be their mistake.
