Taiwan Democratic Progressive Party Emblem and Flag—A Second Creation

Taiwan Democratic Progressive Party, simply DPP. Their emblem design places Taiwan island alone within an inverted green cross, seemingly trying using this extremism highlighting Taiwan value marketing the party.

The undersigned most hates DPP about this point—just like emblem design, eyes only on Taiwan island, seemingly ignoring Kinmen people (plus Penghu, Matsu, Green Island, Orchid Island people etc.).

Yet despite this, some DPP supporters still mixing in Penghu, Kinmen, Matsu regions, even brainlessly defending DPP’s various wrong policies like ractopamine pork.

If showing PRC flag or American Stars and Stripes, both sufficiently display ethnic coexistence imagery.

But DPP emblem abandoning other ROC territories like Penghu archipelago, Kinmen archipelago, Matsu islands and other islands sufficiently proves Democratic Progressive Party’s democracy ultimately limited to this small island.

So my second-creation idea for DPP flag was because of this—changing Taiwan island imagery to more abstract conceptual meaning, hoping they could step out of island framework. Let me give them a thumbs-up.
