The Logic Behind the 'Anti-Red Media, Anti-Nikkei' Protest Movement: The Green Camp Devouring Media and Its Double Standards

Green elderships have almost devoured all news channels, yet Green-brains only see CTI. Even when the news about EBC’s Liu Bao-jie almost being fired occurred during Han Kuo-yu’s campaign for Kaohsiung Mayor, we discovered that the senior management of EBC, which was previously considered light blue, seems to have been replaced by a deep green faction.

The Anti-Red Media movement launched in front of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall this time, specifically targeting CTI News, is essentially a continuation of the previous Anti-Want Want China, Anti-Media Monopoly movement; it’s virtually the same group of people in a new guise.

At the scene of the anti-red media event, I saw someone holding a sign that said “Seeking freedom of the press, opposing lies and fabrication.” Originally, this demand was correct, but by only pointing the spear at CTI, it makes it seem as if several other news stations are very fair and just. Isn’t this the biggest joke under Taiwan’s sky??

It’s clear that the one lying is accusing others of lying. The one labeling others as ‘red’ is accusing others of being red.

Clearly, although this stupid logical discourse can be easily exposed, there are still plenty of people willing to dive in and be brainwashed.

The participants also know that if they directly said it’s against Han Kuo-yu, the effect of political manipulation wouldn’t be very good. Instead, by simply claiming a righteous cause, they can get people who already dislike Han Kuo-yu to commit themselves. Combined with the previous anti-Want Want China crowd, the gathering today can only be considered quite small.

Otherwise, who can tell us what news CTI has reported, other than reporting on Han Kuo-yu, that flatters the CPC or frames the Republic of China?? But rational discussion has always been disliked by those with low intelligence; I can understand why they always only know how to label people.

But so far, no one has told us: if CTI is a media beast, then what are all the other news stations controlled by pro-independence elderships???

Taiwan’s democracy is actually a paradise for various political conspiracy theorists and green-brains.

Internal Short Review: Another Way of Thinking About the Want Want China Media Acquisition Case

In fact, this has been the main purpose of keywords like fake news and fake information strongly pushed by both Trump in the US and the Tsai Ing-wen government in the Republic of China over the past year: to have a government formulate the rules of the game for fake news. In this way, it’s easy to dismiss all news that politicians dislike as fake information.

But who can stop the government, the biggest liar of all??

If even CTI News is shut down today, who will be able to reveal the truth about the government?? SET News?? FTV?? Era News?? Next TV??

In fact, back then, TVBS, which exposed Chen Shui-bian’s corruption cases, was messed with once and almost shut down. In the end, it was Li Yan-qiu’s husband and wife who resigned of their own accord that ended that government dark incident. As for Chen Shui-bian’s fate after stepping down, everyone has seen it.

This time, on the surface, it’s about labeling CTI News as ‘red’ and waving the fake banner of defending freedom of the press, but in reality, it’s about aiding Tsai Ing-wen’s election by attacking Han Kuo-yu, and incidentally making a wave of donations. Politics is indeed a good business, essentially the same in nature as religious money-grubbing 🙄迫
