Defending Military Honor: Frogmen Are Not 'Baby Soldiers'!

See the cover image: Legislator Chen Ting-fei, frogmen are not baby soldiers, nor are they “cuties.” Please respect military honor.

🐸 Respecting Professionalism: The Meaning of ‘Frogmen’

Frogmen (Marine Corps Reconnaissance Battalion, colloquially known as Sea Dragons) is the term for members of elite military units in the Republic of China Armed Forces who undergo high-intensity amphibious training. This designation symbolizes the grueling trials and exceptional combat professionalism of these soldiers.

Mistaking “frogmen” for the infantilizing term “baby soldiers,” or using dismissive nicknames like “cuties,” is a grave disrespect to all military personnel who have shed blood and sweat for their country.

As a legislator of the Republic of China, Chen Ting-fei must understand the gravity of using precise military terminology to demonstrate respect for the nation’s defense forces.
