The DPP's Anti-Infiltration Law: Returning to the Era Before the Lifting of Martial Law Over Night

You are a Taiwanese businessman attending a symposium across the strait. A high-ranking CCP official gives a speech, hoping Taiwanese businessmen will “oppose independence and promote unification.” Before the general election, you return to Taiwan and donate money to candidates and parties opposing the Green camp. Then you are doxxed for having attended this symposium, accused of “accepting instructions,” and violating the Anti-Infiltration Law. Consequently, you are GG’d (done for).

You are a travel agency operator moving between the two sides of the strait. you hear many official and civilian people from across the strait telling you that the cross-strait tourism slump is due to the DPP’s policies. You return to Taiwan, and when travel operators launch a parade hoping to save Taiwan’s travel industry, you participate. Then you are doxxed for having talked about this topic with many people from across the strait, accused of “accepting instructions,” and violating the Anti-Infiltration Law. Consequently, you are GG’d.

You are a KMT party official participating in the Cross-Strait Economic, Trade and Culture Forum (KMT-CCP Forum). During the forum, consensus is reached on many items, many of which were proposed by officials from across the strait. Returning to Taiwan, you and your party work hard to turn these consensus points into policies. Suddenly, prosecutors and police remember this meeting, leading you to be deemed as having “accepted instructions,” violating the Anti-Infiltration Law. Consequently, you and your entire party are GG’d.

You are a gamer who joined a Chinese-speaking alliance. Because the alliance leader is from the mainland, the alliance rules instruct Chinese people to unite and defeat the US, Europe, Japan, and South Korea. The alliance leader also sends you many private messages assigning tasks, and finally, you win the championship. After leaving the game, you also feel that Chinese people should unite and cooperate to have a future. Therefore, you lobby friends and family that Taiwan independence has no way out and that the two sides must cooperate and maintain interaction… Then you are doxxed, game chat logs are leaked, and you are GG’d.

You are nothing but a student. Your roommate is a student from the mainland, and you often chat about political topics. You often criticize the DPP’s cross-strait policies online. One day, you find your roommate has been arrested on charges of being a communist spy. Then one day, you are also arrested because what you wrote is accused of being fake, and because you accepted instructions from a hostile force, violating the Anti-Infiltration Law. Consequently, you are GG’d.

From then on, the people of Taiwan lived happily ever after. (Original author: Li Guang-yi) 迫
