KMT or DPP—Who Has Been Better to the Taiwanese People?? — A Comparison from Historical Human Rights to Ractopamine and Nuclear-Contaminated Food

Some friends who support the DPP say they hate the KMT because the KMT was bad to the Taiwanese people❗️ However, that was actually a kind of historical inevitability during the post-war recovery period—the same has happened in every country around the world…

Setting aside everything else, with Japanese imperial subjects and large numbers of Communist spies infiltrating and scheming to subvert Taiwan, ask yourself: if you were the ruler of that era, how would you prevent the nation from being infiltrated… Wouldn’t you resort to even more outrageous measures to block foreign forces??

The so-called “Taiwan camp” is still promoting a “hang them from lampposts” mentality today.

As for the Taiwan independence green-brained 🦠 imperial subjects who believe Taiwan should submit to Japan, or the Unification Promotion Party types who advocate surrendering to the CCP—please stop embarrassing yourselves with these foolish arguments.

The Two Chiangs Era: Human Rights and History

Chiang Kai-shek and Chiang Ching-kuo, the two Chiang presidents, were not native Taiwanese, but their contributions to Taiwan are matters of public record and undeniable dedication. Even Taiwan independence green-brained supporters can really only criticize human rights issues. But the facts prove that from the 228 Incident through the martial law period, the actual total number of victims was only around one thousand, many of whom have since been proven to be covert agents recruited by the CCP.

When it comes to comparing Taiwanese killed, I have never once seen those green-brained people criticize Japan for killing over 400,000 Taiwanese in Taiwan! Not a single word have I ever heard them mention…

Hey green-brained people, it’s no longer the Japanese colonial occupation era—you don’t need to be terrified that Japanese police will kick in your door at midnight with guns…

However, it’s quite obvious that before discussing the DPP’s attitude toward the Taiwanese people, I can at least say they treat their own people well—guaranteed by the courts—and it’s still ongoing.

As for the KMT being “bad” to Taiwanese—those are nearly century-old matters, and at the time, they only targeted certain ideological dissidents who wanted to overthrow the government.

I ask: which country in the world would tolerate such people? Even the U.S. CIA and FBI are still constantly catching these kinds of people today.

Who Has Been Better to the Taiwanese People?

Moreover, those who governed during the KMT’s era have long since passed away. Instead, it’s today’s young people who have been politically brainwashed, unable to escape the quagmire of old grievances. How can Taiwanese society progress? At this rate, being absorbed by the CCP seems like a foreseeable future.

But even if that day truly comes, I believe DPP members would ironically be the safest group 🚬

As for whether the KMT or DPP has been better to the Taiwanese people, I think one only needs to look at who dared to import American ractopamine-laced pork, who imports Japanese nuclear-contaminated food for Taiwanese to eat, who doesn’t dare to assert sovereignty over the Diaoyu Islands against Japan, and who, at the mere request of Japan or America, scurries to relax pesticide limits—the answer becomes self-evident.
