Watching various friends on Facebook waiting to receive calls for the DPP’s internal primary polls—they are more expectant than someone winning a stock lottery, more hyped than someone receiving an admission letter from NTU.
I truly feel this society is sick.
As for these candidates: some, having been given total power, have used it to utterly ruin the country; others, despite being part of the same accomplice structure, think they are the “star pitcher.”
The most important problems facing the Republic of China are not just US-Taiwan or cross-strait relations.
The three major domestic issues: Territory, Government, and Community. No one is willing to address these three themes, so everyone just keeps pretending to be asleep.
