The Absurd Double Standards of the DPP Government

Recently, the DPP government has been actively working on the one hand to decriminalize criminals from the Martial Law era.

(The awkward part is that many of them were pro-Japanese imperialist rioters and Communist spies; the members of those government committees can only perform various self-consoling U-turns to justify it.)

Yet, on the other hand, the government is actively using the investigation and prosecution system to arrest and interview dissenting voices on the internet.

Chen Shih-chung even went so far as to say, “If our opinions differ, then we’ll see you in court.” Is the DPP really okay with a Health Minister who uses taxpayers’ money to abuse the state apparatus, waste judicial resources, and threaten to sue people the moment they open their mouths?
