On December 11, 2020, CTI News was shut down by the DPP government’s National Communications Commission (NCC) through the means of speech censorship.
For the DPP—a party that has always carried Cheng Nan-jung’s legacy as a shield, championing absolute and unrestricted freedom of speech—this action is an insult to the intelligence of all Taiwanese people. We have specially designed this meme to commemorate the future of the DPP.
